Our residential aged care is for older people who can no longer live at home and need ongoing help with everyday tasks or health care.
Leaving your own home and entering an aged care home isn’t an easy decision, but it doesn’t have to be a daunting experience and we are here to help you or your family. Our aged care home or hostel can give you the care and services you need to maintain your quality of life.
Our nursing home provides quality care for seventy-five high care residents. This includes our extension of a secure wing providing a much needed facility in a caring environment. Our nursing home boasts attractive dining rooms, lounges and activities centre where individual needs are catered for. Full time leisure and lifestyle officers are employed to ensure a wide range of activities and services are provided.
Our hostel makes provision for twenty-nine placements and we also cater for respite bookings. A Diversional Therapy Assistant ensures a range of services are available to residents and that an wide choice of activities are scheduled everyday.
Expressions of interest for placement may be made in the first instance by contacting our administration office.
Weekly shopping trips are arranged using our society’s bus with excursions scheduled on a regular basis.
A limited number of respite bookings are available from time to time in both our hostel and our nursing home.
