Murroona Gardens takes great pride in the quality of our catering. We constantly seek advice on all aspects of our catering with menus being changed four times a year with consideration to seasonal influences.
Visiting consultants provide training and make recommendations to our catering staff as to best practice in the industry.
Special attention is given to individual requirements with emphasis placed on nutritional values and dietary requirements. Every resident is treated as an individual with individual needs being catered for. Alternate choices are available at all meal times. Presentation and quality of all meals is under constant scrutiny to ensure that dining is an enjoyable experience for our residents.
Special attention is given to the preparation of modified meals for residents with eating difficulties.
Meals are also provided to our Day Therapy Centre and to our Residential Village at a nominal cost. Meals are also available to visitors and guests by prior arrangements with our catering manager.
Catering facilities are available by arrangement for community based activities.
Our catering staff ensure that the needs of such activities as birthday celebrations, anniversaries and special events such as Anzac day, Australia day etc are highly successful.
We are delighted to be able to assist families in arranging family gatherings for special occasions.
Alcohol is permitted in a controlled environment when under supervision and subject to any medical restrictions.
