High Care placement is provided in a 61 bed Nursing Home.
Low Care placement is provided in a 29 bed Hostel facility where ageing in place is recognised.

Prior to any consideration for placement being made the following documentation needs to be obtained and completed:-
- Application for Care – This may be obtained from Murroona Gardens, Blue Care or your local doctor.
- Centre Link Income and Asset Assessment - The assessment form can be collected from our Administration Office.
- A.C.A.T. Assessment: (Aged Care Assessment Team) - This confirms the level of care approval in place. Arrangements for ACAT are made by contacting My Aged Care on 1800 200 422.
Murroona Gardens provides an extensive Day Therapy Program five days a week. Activities include exercise programs, celebrations of special occasions, outings, visitations, morning melody programs, visiting artists, bar b ques and water aerobics to name but a few.
A bus is available to provide transport to those Clients who do not have their own transport. Cost is $5.00 per day for attendance. Lunches are available for a nominal cost of $10.00.
Murroona Gardens currently have 71 independent living units. These comprise both pre-paid and fortnightly rental. Prepaid accommodation is currently available on the basis of $11,000 per year or $110,000 for ten years. Rental Accommodation is available for $361.00 per fortnight. Rental assistance may be offset against this charge. As demand is quite high, applications are usually subject to a waiting list.
